As you may know my family has been touched by cancer recently with the passing of my Aunty last year from lung cancer, and the recent diagnosis of my dad with prostate cancer. I also have several close friends and other family members who have all been personally affected by cancer. This has spurred me on to do something and this ride is the least i can do help raise money for the research of this disease. Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated.
The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer is a 200 km cycling journey throughout the countryside of WA completed over 2 days. Money raised will go to the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR). The institute is involved in groundbreaking and critical research that aims to find the genetic and environmental causes of diseases such as cancer.
