Welcome to my Personal Page! The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR), is a cycling journey throughout the scenic countryside of Western Australia that I?m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
As a young fellow of just 15 and one of 8 kids I lost my dad through lung cancer. Then my eldest brother in 2008 was diagonised with the same and passed away just 6 months later. My eldest sister was recently diagonised "very early" in 2012 and hopefully cured. Along with mates and friends diagonised and having since passed away through various kinds of Cancers I'm keen to contribute to where it matters so we can make a difference for cancer sufferers. I love to ride and fundraise through a fantastic network of family, friends and colleagues so when I found out about Fat Dads riding for this cause I was instantly committed. Contribute to this history-making event with a donation. Funds raised in The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer will support groundbreaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research, Western Australia?s premier adult medical research institute, investigating the genetic and environmental causes of a range of diseases.
