***STOP PRESS*** It was a fabulous experience and the fundraising handsomely exceeded my goals. In total Team Proteomics raised nearly $8000. Wow!!! Thank you.

The ride itself was great fun, full of wonderful people, and with beautiful countryside. That said, I could have done without the headwind on the way back :) Nonetheless, the limbs and muscles faired well and even my rear end coped!

Welcome to my Personal Page! The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR), is a cycling journey throughout the scenic countryside of Western Australia.

Sadly, I think we have all known someone who has died from cancer. Every step, no matter how small, that we can take to improve the odds of overcoming this disease is an important step.

I am embarking on this 200km cycling marathon to support medical research and fight cancer. With your generosity a real impact will be made!

This history-making event will take place on the 20th and 21st of October, and my fundraising target is a minimum of $2500, so please contribute with a donation :)

As part of Team Proteomics (our local group within WAIMR) we are aiming to raise $10,000, and with your help, we will!
