Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer?

Welcome to my personal page that I hope all of you take the time to read, just a little bit.

My mother was diagnosed with cervical cancer when I was very young.  To be honest with you, I don't really remember much of it, just lots of trips to Perth and being left at my grandparents house for the day. It took at least 10 years for her to beat it, and was finally given the all clear when I was in my teens.

My father unfortunately passed away on New Year's Eve 1996, from a brain tumor that developed as a secondary melonoma from a malignant cancer spot he had removed 10 years previously. The symptoms came on very suddenly and his life was over in the blink of an eye.

Jerome Gallager, my team mate in this event, unfortunately lost his beautiful wife Vickey in January 2011 from a secondary melenoma, that developed after having a malignant cancer spot removed five years earlier. Sadly, leaving her husband, two very young children, and extremely close family members with questions unanswered.

I know there are a few of you out there with similar stories, and I expect you to donate!!

All money raised will go to help Jerome reach his goal of $25,000, that will be used by WAIMR (Western Australian Institute of Medical Research).
