On October 20-21, I will be cycling the 200kms through the scenic countryside of WA to participate in the 2012 Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting WA Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR).

In July 2009 I lost my greatest knight, my spider man, my partner Nicholas Carellos from esophagus cancer. In March 2011 I also lost my dearest heroin, my lifesaver, my Australian mother Elizabeth Hatfield-Carter from ovarian cancer.

I will be riding for those who have fought the fight and lost, so that their efforts won?t be in vain, and to honour their memory.

I will be riding for those who are fighting for their lives and those who go through every day seeing their loved ones fighting.

I will be riding to raise funds that will support to cancer research in to all types of cancer treatment and cures.

Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support Groundbreaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Western Australia Institute for Medical Research. www.waimr.uwa.edu.au.
