Many of us know the frustration we feel watching loved ones go through treatment, how we wish they didn't have to suffer. That feeling of helplessness and the realization knowing that all we really can do is be there to offer them comfort and support. I know that feeling first hand, last year we all celebrated Mothers Day together, just a few weeks later Mum was diagnosed with Cancer. She underwent surgery and 7 months of Chemo Therapy. Fortunately for Mum, she is now on the road to recovery, her hair is growing back and she looks a million dollars. Not everyone's story is as fortunate as Mum's. But there is something you can do help!
In October, I will embark on the 200klm ride in honour of my Mum.
My aim is to raise $5,000 for the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research. You can help by donating to as little as $10 or as much as the whole $5,000 (if you're feeling generous) Follow the links and make a donation and let us fight cancer together.
