Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer

Welcome to my Personal Page! The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR), is a cycling journey throughout the scenic countryside of Western Australia that I am embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!

I have been fortunate to know a few friends who having contracted cancer, have managed to beat it. Equally I have lost an Aunt to breast cancer and 10 years ago, a work colleague and friend to lung cancer. My friend was an avid cyclist and a runner. I will doing the Sunsuper ride with all my friends who have been directly affected by cancer in mind.

The ride will be an exhilarating challenge, but raising as much money as I am able to, will be the biggest challenge.

Funds raised in The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer will support groundbreaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research, Western Australia's premier adult medical research institute, investigating the genetic and environmental causes of a range of diseases.
