Well what a weekend the ride was. After all the build up the event went without a hitch, apart from a few sore muscles. The great work by organisers, volunteers, sponsors, supporters and riders raised a staggering $4.6M to aid cancer research in WA. Team MACA raising a whopping $550,000 the largest amount ever raised in Australia 

To all those that supported me and the ride my heart felt thanks. We did "make a difference".

As a result MACA ltd and Team MACA will be back in 2013 bigger and better, the planning is already underway.

The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR), is a cycling journey throughout the scenic countryside of Western Australia that Im embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, and your generosity or company, a real impact will be made. 

Funds raised in The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer will support groundbreaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research, Western Australias premier adult medical research institute, investigating the genetic and environmental causes of a range of diseases.
