Welcome to my Personal Page! The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR), is a cycling journey throughout the scenic countryside of Western Australia that I'm embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!

My driving force  for participating in this ride is to show support and demonstrate my appreciation of the recent medical research and treatments that enabled my mother, Lyn to beat breast cancer.  I feel so fortunate that my two daughters are growing up with my mum  and are able to know her and build a close relationship with her. This would not have been the case without the medical intervention provided through research. 

This ride is also providing me with the impetus to improve my fitness and an opportunity to be involved in activity with like minded people all raising much needed funds. My hope is that in time and with further advances in cancer research the loss that this disease creates can be eliminated.  

 Funds raised in The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer will support groundbreaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research, Western Australia's premier adult medical research institute, investigating the genetic and environmental causes of a range of diseases.
