Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer?

Hi,

Like a great many of you, my family have been directly affected by cancer in some shape or form. This particular disease has impacted my direct family in a major way, but in looking back, we were lucky, we came through the otherside intact.
So what can I do to assist in finding a cure for this disease. I'm not a scientist, doctor or in any way could I be deemed medically competent. I'm not mega wealthy, or even what you would call wealthy, so the opportunities for philanthropy are somewhat limited. What I do have however is a wide network of friends, acquaintances and business associates whose generosity knows no bounds.

So the question is, what can you and I do to support cancer research.

This Octber I'll be participating in the Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer. Funds from this 2 day, 200km event will support groundbreaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research. I'm endeavouring to raise at least $2500.00 for this worthy cause. If you are able to assist in contributing to this history-making event with a donation, it would be greatly appreciated.

Any amount, large or small, will make a difference.
