We are on a journey and are looking forward to coming together with all other riders on the Ride to Conquer Cancer.

Melanoma has touched all our lives in some way... and we want to help WAIMR and the Scott Kirkbride Melanoma Research Centre to make a difference to those living with Melanoma now, and for those who will unfortunately be diagnosed into the future.

1 in 14 men and 1 in 24 women will be diagnosed with Melanoma in their lifetime in Australia, and we think that by participating in this ride we can bring some much needed awareness to skin cancer and Melanoma specifically. Early detection as well as Prevention are key themes and the melanomaWA team are commited to riding to raise awareness of this deadly disease.

It is the strength of our loved ones and those that we have met along the journey that will give us the drive to complete the ride and know that the melanomaWA team has made a real impact on minimising the effect that Melanoma has here in Western Australia.

melanomaWA also exists to provide support to those that are diagnosed with Melanoma, as well as their own support crew. By taking part in this ride we are taking part to represent all those in the state who live with Melanoma, with a real focus on empowering people to live well even after a cancer diagnosis.
