After the sad loss of Ronnie Resmondo, a good friend and colleague from Kiewit's Southeast District, I believed it to be only right to form a team in the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Ronnie was diagnosed with Brain Cancer earlier this year, and within a matter of weeks, sadly lost his battle. If you have ever lost someone to Cancer, you would know just how severe and rapid this disease can be and the pain it can impose on families. This is why the Kiewit family has decided to join together to raise money for Cancer research.

With Christina Resmondo's blessing, four Kiewit districts have joined together to raise money for Western Australia's premier adult research institute. I will be captaining the team from Perth, and we have six months to train and raise as much money as possible. I am looking forward to having Ronnie's wife and son fly to Perth, Western Australia to join us in the two day cycling event.
